KL Rahul fails yet against Pakistan; perishes for 4 in T20 World Cup 2022 

After India restricted Pakistan to a total of 159 runs, it wasn’t a fruitful start for them with the bat as they lost quick wickets and came under immense pressure. They negotiated the first over well and scored 5 runs in that.

But after that nothing has gone their way. KL Rahul perished for 4 runs he played on a sharp length ball that kicked up off the surface. The right-hander looked to defend and played with bat and pad but the ball sneaked through off the inside edge and rolled onto the stumps.

Notably, this was Rahul’s fourth failure against Pakistan as he has managed just 35 runs against them in 4 innings that has played against them.

After the wicket of Rahul, India came under all sorts of pressure as they lost skipper Rohit Sharma as well for 4 runs. If this was not enough, Suryakumar Yadav too perished for 15 runs and later Akshar Patel too joined him as a mix-up in the middle saw him back in the hut to leave India tottering at 31/4.
