Meanwhile, in the latest development, the IPL teams have been notified by the BCCI that the Indian bowlers shouldn’t over-bowl in the nets session during the Indian Premier League season.

The tournament will come to a close on May 28, 2023, which means that the cricketers will be heavily involved in two months of intense action. The Indian board doesn’t want the Indian bowlers to over-bowl in the nets.

Many reckon that this will add up to the bowlers’ fatigue which might not help them retain good shape going forward into the two major events namely ICC WTC Final and ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

These two tournaments are scheduled to be held this year. With two major tournaments lined up, it is absolutely imperative for Indian bowlers to look after themselves such that they are fit and ready to take part in these two tournaments.
