Brett Lee, a former Australian bowling ace and cricket great, has heaped praise on Virender Sehwag, a former Indian opener, and hailed him as one of the toughest batsmen he has ever bowled to. Lee said that throughout his career, he has always considered Sachin Tendulkar to be the most difficult batter to bowl to, but he also holds Sehwag in the same esteem.
Lee, who is considered to be one of the best fast bowlers of all time, terrified batsmen throughout his career with his sheer speed and accuracy. He also engaged in some exciting clashes against modern-era greats like Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, and Sehwag. Although the tearaway bowler engaged in some epic clashes with Tendulkar, he praised the amazing talents of Virender Sehwag, who was his opening partner.
Lee said that he believed Sehwag to be a carbon copy of Tendulkar owing to the similarities in their batting stances. Even though they were playing red-ball cricket, the batsman startled him with his reckless attitude.
Vale Rudi Koertzen ! Om Shanti. Condolences to his family.

What did Brett Lee say about Virender Sehwag?
“The batter, when he was at the wicket, had a look that was reminiscent of Sachin Tendulkar. And at that point, I thought to myself, “Here we go again. Another Sachin Tendulkar. If the first one wasn’t enough, we’ve got another one, and he’s going to open the innings. We in the Australian squad devised a plan to trick Sehwag into hitting one down there, and we even started the test match with a fielder at third man in order to increase our chances of success. We attempted that in an ODI as well, and he smashed it… absolutely hammered it out of the ground,” Lee claimed on his YouTube channel.

The two-time champion of the World Cup is widely considered to be one of the game’s best fast bowlers of all time and has praised Sehwag’s approach to the game. He emphasised the volatility of the Indian batter, which made it very tough to bowl to him.
