The Australian national cricket team are currently taking on the West Indies cricket team in the first of the two-match Test series. The Test opener is being held at Perth Stadium in Perth.

Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first and the decision to bat first turned out to be a masterstroke for the hosts. Australia were quite comfortable batting in their familiar conditions as opposed to West Indies’ bowlers who found it hostile as they found it literally tough to take wickets.

Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed by West Indies’ captain Kraigg Brathwaite in the first ball of the 119th over. During his stay at the crease, the right-handed batter played the game with full spirit as he credited the opposition bowlers as well.

On Day 1 of the first Test, Marnus Labuschagne credited Jayden Seales by saying, “You’ve won the over” because the latter bowled incredibly well and Marnus got away with two fortunate boundaries.

Apart from that, he clearly struggled and which is why he complimented the bowler right away. Meanwhile, on Day 2, Marnus was seen praising Jason Holder for bowling a gem of a delivery.

The incident happened during the first ball of the 90th over when Marnus was batting on 153. The right-handed batter was literally taken aback by the sheer pace of Jason Holder as he failed to get a connection with the bat.
