Apart from taking seven wickets to his name, he also scored 70 runs in the first innings. As far as his performance in the second Test is concerned, he took his 12th five-wicket haul and was also named the player of the match.
Meanwhile, the experienced all-rounder will be looking forward to doing well in the third Test against the Aussies in Indore on March 1. He will be looking to accomplish a new milestone in his career as he is set to become the second Indian to complete 500 wickets and 5000 runs in international cricket.
Having played 62 Tests in his cricketing career, he has scored 2619 runs including 3 centuries and 18 fifties. On the other hand, he scored 2447 runs including 13 fifties in ODIs. The all-rounder scored 457 runs in T20Is. Jadeja took 259 wickets in Tests, 189 wickets in ODIs and 51 wickets in T20Is.
