The yellow heart was for the Chennai Super Kings fans because CSK play in the yellow jersey. This year has not been the best one for the Chennai Super Kings as they have won only one of their five games in IPL 2022 so far.

Playing under the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja for the first time ever, the Chennai Super Kings started off with four losses in four matches. They first lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders and then suffered defeats at the hands of Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants. Finally, they snapped their losing streak with a 23-run victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
