David Warner, an Australian batsman, is well-known not just for his hitting prowess but also for his comedic social media postings. Warner, who has a huge following in India because of his regular trips there for the Indian Premier League, wastes no opportunity to make his Instagram followers laugh.

Warner could have thought it was a good time to become an overnight sensation because of the worldwide success of the Shah Rukh Khan film Pathaan.

So in his most recent Instagram post, the 36-year-old player not only reviewed Pathaan but also copied Khan by inserting his own face into numerous key scenes from the film.

Warner, like the vast majority of the world’s population, has spoken highly of Pathaan Khan, calling him a “legend” and “icon.”

This month, Warner also imitated Allu Arjun‘s role in Sukumar’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ another recent example of similar copying.

Warner, who did not live up to expectations in the just-concluded Test summer or the Big Bash League 2022-23, will be seen again in India beginning on February 9 for the crucial Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which consists of four Test matches.

With Khan finally playing a leading part after more than four years, the wait for Pathaan was well worth it. Pathaan, a pure commercial entertainer, has broken many records at the box office and is on track to become a financial phenomenon.

Pathaan, starring Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana, was directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films company.
