The left-handed batsman is having a breakthrough season wherein he scored 363 runs in eleven games for Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing edition of the IPL.
Shivam Dube scored 363 runs in 11 games at an average of 40.33. Moreover, he operated at an exceptional strike rate of 157.14. What really made his season ever so special is due to the fact that he dealt most of his deliveries by hitting sixes and fours.
It is worth mentioning here that he scored as many as 228 runs through boundaries, which has been really compelling. He has smashed 30 sixes and 12 fours this season. Notably, he is third on the list in terms of hitting the most sixes in IPL 2023.
Only Faf du Plessis (34) is ahead of Shivam Dube in terms of hitting most sixes this season. Shivam Dube and Glenn Maxwell have struck 30 sixes this season. Shivam Dube’s imperious form in middle-order is vital for CSK this season.
Currently, CSK are second on the table with 15 points from seven wins and one no result this season. They lost to KKR in the previous game and will have to win their next game against Delhi Capitals to qualify for the playoffs.
