Shubman Gill is one of the promising youngsters in the Indian cricket team. Not long ago, he etched his name into the record books by becoming the youngest cricketer to score a century in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.

He also scripted history by becoming the youngest cricketer to score a double century in the 50-over format. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is spicing it up for Gujarat Titans in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

The right-handed batter got off to a superb start to the game as he assessed the conditions pretty well before going about his business during the passage of play.

Shubman Gill took the bowling attack to the cleaners by batting quite sensibly. In the process, he ended up scoring a brilliant half-century against CSK in the IPL 2023 opener.

Shubman Gill chipped in with a magnificent 63 off 36 balls with the help of six fours and three hits over the fence at a strike rate of 175 before he was dismissed by CSK’s impact player, Tushar Deshpande.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings posted a pretty decent total of 178 for the loss of seven wickets in their designated quota of 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 92 off 50 balls including four boundaries and nine sixes to his name.

The likes of Mohammed Shami, Alzarri Joseph and Rashid Khan took two wickets each for Gujarat Titans.
