Gujarat Titans pulled off a spectacular win against Rajasthan Royals in the 48th match of IPL 2023 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals were hardly able to keep up with Gujarat Titans’ intensity, in what was too tough to handle.

Batting first, the hosts were bundled out for mere 118 runs. Afghanistan players namely Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad did the trick for Gujarat Titans as they stopped Rajasthan Royals from going all guns blazing.

Apart from Sanju Samson all other batters failed to lift their tempo in the game. Samson top-scored with 30 runs including 3 fours and a six. On the other hand, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad were the best performing players for Gujarat Titans.

Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors as he registered 3/14 in his full quota of four overs at an impressive economy rate of 3.50. Noor Ahmad also looked good for his 2/25 in three overs.

Both the spinners inflicted a massive damage on Rajasthan Royals. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans chased down the target in 13.5 overs and chipped in with a comprehensive win over Rajasthan Royals.

Hardik Pandya hogged the limelight for his counter-attacking innings as he scored 39 off just 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. Wriddhiman Saha scored 41 off 34 balls whereas Shubman Gill scored 36 runs.

With this win, Gujarat Titans are now on top of the table. They have collected 14 points from 10 games (7 wins and 3 defeats).
