India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant once again proved that he is one of the best in the business when it comes to the longest format of the game.

The southpaw literally enjoyed playing red-ball cricket and has been statistically very impressive in numbers compared to the other two formats in international cricket.

The 24-year-old has well and truly unleashed the ultra-aggressive approach or the Bazball approach in the passage of play and has also succeeded in instantly breaking the confidence of the bowlers.

Rishabh Pant played a fearless brand of cricket in the first innings of the first Test match in Chattogram. In fact, he was en route to scoring a half-century but was dismissed for 46 off 45 (6 fours, 2 sixes).

In response, India lost KL Rahul, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara for 10, 20 and 24 runs as Taijul Islam got rid of these three batters. However, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer stitched together a century-plus stand and took the game away from the hosts.

Rishabh Pant dominated the game with such ease as he simply toyed with Bangladeshi bowlers by smashing fours and sixes at will. The best part of the game was witnessed when he smashed two one-handed sixes and the fans totally enjoyed watching his innings.

Before playing the Dhaka Test, Rishabh Pant already had five centuries and eleven fifties. In fact, he has been dismissed six times in the 90s. He departed after scoring 93 runs in the second Test.
