
Ishan Kishan recently etched his name into the record books after he became the fastest batsman to score a double century in the history of One Day Internationals.
The young southpaw accomplished the feat against Bangladesh in the third and final ODI in Chattogram recently Ishan Kishan justified his selection right by playing an unbelievable and memorable inning.
It is worth mentioning here that Ishan Kishan achieved the landmark in just 126 balls. In the process, he shattered the previous record for men’s and women’s cricket which was held by New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr.
He registered his personal best score of 210 off just 131 balls with the help of 24 boundaries and 10 sixes at a strike rate of 160.31. The left-handed batter drew plaudits for his exceptional knock.
Ishan Kishan scores a century against Kerala in Ranji Trophy
The southpaw is currently representing the Jharkhand cricket team in the Ranji Trophy. He is playing against the Kerala cricket team which is currently taking place at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi.
Coming out to bat in the middle order, Ishan Kishan upped his ante to a great extent and took his batting to the next step in intensity. After scoring a fifty and went about his business to score a remarkable century.
He constructed his innings with the help of nine boundaries and seven sixes to his name. When the Jharkhand cricket team were at 114/4 in 37.4 overs, the likes of Ishan Kishan and Saurabh Tiwary took the game away from the opposition.
The duo helped the team go past the 300-run mark. Following the mesmerizing innings against Kerala, fans are requesting the BCCI to include Ishan Kishan at least in Asian Tests. Ishan Kishan might as well be making his Test debut anytime soon in the future.
