Australia’s veteran cricketer David Warner expressed his annoyance at how long it has taken the national cricket board to let him make a formal request to have his lifetime captaincy ban reviewed.
For the unversed, the southpaw was suspended for a year and slapped with a ban from taking charge as captain within Australian national cricket team after he crossed his limits to get involved in the infamous ball tampering scandal in South Africa in 2018.
The experienced left-handed opening batsman was the vice-captain in red-ball cricket at the time of the sandpaper scandal. In 2019, he literally meant that he had no plans to appeal against his captaincy ban originating from the ball tampering episode.Â
