At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the bitter rivals, India and Pakistan, are squaring off against each other in the second encounter of the Asia Cup 2022. Fakhar Zaman, a top-order batter for Pakistan, displayed great sportsmanship by stepping off the field after India appealed that he was caught behind on the bowling of a teenage pacer named Avesh Khan.
After winning the toss earlier in the match, the captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma, decided to bowl first in a crucial match. Dinesh Karthik was selected instead of Rishabh Pant, which came as a surprise, given that both KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are returning to the playing XI after taking some time off. The players that Pakistan chose for their XI were very predictable.
Fakhar Zaman walks off the field
On the other hand, Fakhar Zaman was out on the last over of the powerplay because the extra bounce looked to get the better of him; nevertheless, one thing was certain: the ball received the tiniest of nicks. Even the umpire raised a finger as Zamam began walking off the field after nicking Avesh Khan. The Indian players didn’t argue too much, but Fakhar opted to walk off the field after nicking Avesh Khan. The bowler bowled a quick delivery, and the ball bounced higher than the batter anticipated it would.

Not sure the Indian batsmen would do the same, and why should they. In Cricket you take the good luck with the bad luck, Fakhar should have stood his ground and let the umpire make the call.

Lol umpire gave out now. In 2019 WC against Pakistan Kohli didn't nicked but he walked off even when the umpire didn't raise his finger.

I disagree sir. Woh shuru mein yeh soch kar ki umpire out diya, walk kiya. Fir dekha , umpire ko ki usne ungli ni uthayi hui toh poocha aur fir usne out diya, then he walked.
Sportsmanship utni ni thi jitni start mein lgi thi
