In this era of match-ups, it is a disadvantage not to have variety in the batting lineup. However, the construct of some teams is such that they have a batting line-up that is too inclined towards one side. It could become a disadvantage against certain bowlers. Here, we take a look at the list of two teams whose batting line-up is too right-handed for IPL 2025.

1) Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB has always had this issue. Even in the last cycle, they had a problem. There was a lack of left-handers in the entire batting line-up. Again, this problem is for IPL 2025 and hence, we have the squad on this list.

Devdutt Padikkal or Jacob Bethell have to play in the side to give that variety. If Jacob plays, Tim David will have to sit out. DDP is not in great form and depending on him is a risk. Therefore, RCB has a few issues for the next season.

2) Punjab Kings has a good batting line-up for IPL 2025

Punjab Kings is one of the teams whose batting line-up is too right-handed for IPL 2025. PBKS has got a solid batting unit for IPL 2025.

However, there are too many right-handers. Priyansh Arya and Nehal Wadhera are the left-handed options for PBKS. Unfortunately, both are not established in the IPL. Having Nehal at No.4 is a risk when you have the likes of Glenn Maxwell who is perfect for the role. Hence, Punjab is on this list.
