RCB pulls off an incredible win against Rajasthan Royals
Winning the toss, RCB put Rajasthan Royals to bat first. Although RCB kept the lid on the run-scoring, RR let loose at the end, which helped them post a competitive total of 169 on the board. With quality spinners in the XI, RR had its nose ahead in the game.
RCB had a decent start with the bat, not losing a wicket in the powerplay. However, the team lost a few quick wickets which left the team at 62-4. It was a tough chase from then on with not many experienced batters in the XI apart from Dinesh Karthik. However, the veteran had a positive start to the game and that triggered the flow of momentum for the Bengaluru-based outfit. While Shahbaz Ahmed recorded a score of 45 (25), DK made 44 of 23 deliveries to take the team home. It was a complete performance and with Glenn Maxwell ready for the next game, RCB looks pretty strong at the moment.

RCB came with a strategy to maintain the run rate. Which meant that their batsmen had to play through their skin against a good RR bowling attack. If RR had thought through, they could have bowled negatively. Kudos to both teams for not playing negatively. #IPL2022 #RRvsRCB
