Cameron Green is set to miss the next six months of his career. Hence, it is very possible that he might have to skip the next edition of IPL. In the market, there are not many good all-rounders like Green. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three under-rated all-rounders who can replace Cameron Green at RCB for IPL 2025.
1) Aaron Hardie
Aaron Hardie will be the closest option RCB can get as a replacement for Green. It needs to be noted, though, that he has not played in the IPL, so far.
Nevertheless, he can be trusted because of his performances in various T20 leagues such as the BBL. RCB should not expect Green’s bowling services from Aaron as he is not that accomplished with the ball. Since RCB do not have another option available, they can target the Aussie.
2) Azmatullah Omarzai
Azmatullah Omarzai is one of the under-rated all-rounders who can replace Cameron Green at RCB for IPL 2025. He can be a good powerplay bowler and can be a floater with the bat. The Afghan has got good experience in various T20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League.
Last year, he was sold at his base price. Hence, the price may not increase that much. RCB will need such a player to target especially if they still think about hiring back the injured Green.
3) Marco Jansen
The South African youngster is a bowling all-rounder while Green is more of a batting all-rounder. That said, Jansen can actually be useful with the bat, although he might not be suited to bat higher than No.7.
Importantly, Jansen is also a future superstar and RCB will need such an overseas player now that they might be without Green. On his day, Jansen can win matches in the powerplay and Andy Flower could be keen on this.
