3 former players whom RCB should target in IPL 2024 Trade Window

Royal Challengers Bangalore need to be active in the trade window before IPL 2024. The team has some gaps and all of them may not be possible to be filled at the auctions. Hence, the franchise must take care in closing a few deals before the auction itself. This would also reduce the pressure on the auction team that will sit at the table. Here, we take a look at the list of three former players whom RCB should target in the IPL 2024 Trade Window.

1) Vishnu Vinod – Mumbai Indians

Vishnu Vinod from Kerala has been in fine form in recent times. In the limited opportunities that he got in IPL 2023, he left an impression.

Further, he is one of the best betters in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023. RCB needs a wicket-keeper who can replace Dinesh Karthik. The player must be able to bat in the lower middle-order. Hence, they must target Vishnu, who had once played for them.

2) KS Bharat – Gujarat Titans

KS Bharat is one of the players whom RCB should target in the IPL 2024 Trade Window. The Andhra cricketer did not get a single game at GT last season. The situation was similar at Delhi Capitals before that.

RCB needs a good wicket-keeper. While they would prefer a middle-order batter, Bharat would not be a bad idea. He has the skills to do well against the pacers and he showed that when he last played for RCB. Hence, he would be an interesting target for the franchise.

3) Rilee Rossouw – Delhi Capitals

RCB lacks a reliable left-handed middle-order batter. Here is where someone like Rilee Rossouw would strengthen the batting.

While Glenn Maxwell and Rajat Patidar can take care of the spin bowlers, Rossouw can be a beast against the pacers. This setup can help RCB do well without losing their middle-order cheaply very often.
