1) Chennai Super Kings
CSK is one of the teams which targeted the experienced cricketer in IPL 2025 Auctions before PBKS signed him. The squad wanted a senior spinner and hence, they went for Chahal. Eventually, they signed R Ashwin.
2) Gujarat Titans wanted Chahal for IPL 2025
It would have been brilliant to watch Rashid Khan and Chahal bowl together. However, it looks like it was a GT tactic to increase the price.
3) Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH is also one of the teams which targeted Yuzvendra Chahal in IPL 2025 Auctions before PBKS signed him. SRH was bold at the bidding event. They fought hard for Chahal but had to lose out on him.
4) Lucknow Super Giants also wanted Chahal for IPL 2025
LSG was interested in adding experience to the spin department. However, they did not go further because Ravi Bishnoi was already in the team.
5) Royal Challengers Bengaluru
RCB is also one of the teams which targeted the leg-spinner in IPL 2025 Auctions before PBKS signed him. It is clear that the franchise wanted him back. They had a try but did not proceed further.
