While they say T20 is a game for the youngsters, time and again, we have seen the veterans dominate in this format. For instance, in the recently concluded IPL, it was Virat Kohli who won the Orange Cap. Nevertheless, just for context, it is interesting to note that some teams do not have a lot of veterans on the side. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of five nations that do not have a single player aged above 35 for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

1) Ireland

Ireland has Craig Young as the oldest member of the squad. He is 34-years-old. Ireland has the resources to pull off some upsets in the competition. Their performance will be one of the interesting aspects to wathc out for in the 2024 T20 WC.

2) New Zealand

New Zealand is one of the nations that does not have a single player aged above 35 for the 2024 T20 World Cup. It is interesting that the Kiwis have the likes of Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Kane Williamson in the squad and yet, none of them are above 35 years old. Tim Southee is the oldest at 35 in the squad.

Imad Wasim is 35 years old. The all-rounder is the oldest member of the squad. The likes of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Amir add the relevant experience to this team. Hence, Pakistan is also on this list.

4) South Africa

South Africa is also one of the nations that does not have a single player aged above 35 for the 2024 T20 World Cup. At 34, David Miller is the oldest in the squad. The team does have some experienced names in the form of Quinton de Kock and Kagiso Rabada.

5) Nepal

Nepal is also one of the nations that does not have a single player aged above 35 for the 2024 T20 World Cup. Karan KC is the oldest member of the squad. Nepal has been doing well in recent months and they will hope for a good return in this tournament.
