All teams now have a mandate to retain at least one uncapped player if they have to use all of their six retentions. For RCB, Yash Dayal is a clear choice. However, there is a chance that he could make his India debut in October. If that happens, RCB needs to have other ideas. Here, we take a look at the list of three uncapped players RCB can retain if Yash Dayal makes his India debut.

1) Mahipal Lomror

If Yash Dayal is not available, Lomror should be the first choice for RCB. Be it age or demand, he fits the bill perfectly for the side.

A good left-handed batter of spin is hard to get for a middle order role. Lomror has done that job and has been very decent. Since he can also bowl some spin himself, he offers more balance to the side.

2) V Vyshak

V Vyshak is one of the uncapped players RCB can retain if Yash Dayal makes his India debut. He was not at his best in IPL 2024 but there is potential in him to become a good T20 cricketer.

Vyshak is doing well at the domestic level and he can improve further. Plus, he plays a lot at Chinnaswamy and that helps. Further, if he can improve his batting, he can be a good bowling all-rounder for the team.

3) Manoj Bhandage

Manoj Bhandage and Suyash Prabhudessai will both compete for this slot. However, owing to his current form, RCB could retain Manoj, although he is yet to make his debut in the IPL.

A local player, fans will be pleased with his signing. He is a left-handed finisher who can also offer a few overs of medium pace. He is only going to develop further. Retaining him could offer the team a lot of incentives. Hence, he is on this list.
