While teams are loaded with spinners, a few do not have multiple options. Considering the best XI for the side and the conditions where they usually play, some sides could go in with just one spinner in the starting XI. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams which could play just one spinner in the preferred playing XI in IPL 2025.

1) Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB has had issues with their spin attack in the last few years. It will persist again for the side in the upcoming season.

Krunal Pandya will lead the spin attack with Suyash Sharma as an option. RCB might go in with four pacers as they do not have a pace-bowling all-rounder. Liam Livingstone could be the second spinner.

2) Sunrisers Hyderabad could play one spinner in the preferred playing XI in IPL 2025

SRH is one of the teams which could play just one spinner in the preferred playing XI in the IPL. They have Rahul Chahar and Adam Zampa as the lead spin choices.

SRH might go with Brydon Carse to start with as he adds better batting depth. Hence, Zampa could miss out because the domestic Rahul Chahar is also a leggie.

3) Rajasthan Royals

For RR, Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana are the spinners. It is a risk to go with two overseas spinners, especially when they are not in good IPL form.

RR could play Hasaranga, get an extra foreign pacer and ask Nitish Rana and Riyan Parag to bowl some off-spin for the side.
