A few teams could already be looking at their combinations for the next campaign. There could be a change in the backroom staff, as well, for some teams. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams which could have a new Head Coach in IPL 2026.
1) Chennai Super Kings
CSK has been associated with Stephen Fleming for a long time now. However, it could be time now that this partnership ends. Fleming has been criticised a lot, and some of his decisions have also been strange. CSK might want some fresh ideas and hence, they could look for a new coach.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders could have a new Head Coach in IPL 2026
Chandrakant Pandit has not been very influential in his role as the Head Coach. Especially in IPL 2025, his tactics have not been on point, and there are question marks on recruitment, as well. Being a domestic coach, the veteran was expected to unearth some youngsters. However, that has not happened till now.
3) Lucknow Super Giants
Justin Langer has not been impactful so far as the Head Coach. Last season, the team did not qualify while they are inconsistent in IPL 2025. Hence, there is a chance that LSG could look at different options to bring a different perspective to the side.
