3 players RCB must target in the trade window to improve the bowling attack

Royal Challengers Bangalore have the weakest bowling attack for IPL 2024. While Mohammed Siraj is the only accomplished Indian bowler, the team does not even have a single reliable spinner. They must stay active in the trade window if they need to do well in the next season. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players RCB must target in the trade window to improve the bowling attack.

1) R Sai Kishore

Karn Sharma, Himanshu Sharma and Mayank Dagar are the spinners at RCB. None of them are close to the Indian Team. In an IPL Team, without an established Indian or an overseas spinner, things will be hard.

At GT, Sai may not get games due to the presence of Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed. Hence, he might be open to a move. RCB must be go hard for the player to get him to the squad. He can play at No.7 and lead the spin attack.

2) Kartik Tyagi

Kartik Tyagi is one of the players RCB must target in the trade window to improve the bowling attack. The talented cricketer went for just INR 60 Lakhs to Gujarat Titans. Irrespective of his injury status, that is a steal.

However, with Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Spencer Johnson and Mohammed Shami at the setup, GT might not be able to give consistent game time to Tyagi. RCB can afford him for that price but they might have to still trade a player back to GT. The franchise must work towards making this happen.

3) Kuldeep Sen

With two bouncers per over, players like Kuldeep Sen will have their impact increased. RCB can use Kuldeep as an enforcer. This can reduce the dependency on Alzarri Joseph or Lockie Ferguson.

Kuldeep is also at a low salary. Hence, RCB can afford this. Since RCB has their quota full, they will need to trade a player back to RR to make this deal work.
