RCB will not be complacent after winning the title. They will want to further improve the squad. Here, we take a look at the list of three players RCB might release before IPL 2026.
1) Rasikh Salam Dar
It will be unfortunate if Rasikh is let go. RCB will want to further improve the squad, and hence, they will need funds. In this regard, they could release the J&K cricketer and even try to get him back at a lower fee. They could also try for some other pacer, as well.
2) Liam Livingstone is one of the players RCB might release before IPL 2026
The RCB management has backed Liam Livingstone. However, with Tim David doing well, RCB might think of getting some funds for the next auctions. Therefore, it is not a surprise if Liam is released, unless he has a great run in any of the T20 leagues.
3) Swapnil Singh
With Krunal Pandya doing so well, Swapnil did not have a role in IPL 2025. RCB might want to use this spot to unearth someone for the future. Young Karnataka cricketer like Hardik Raj could be an option, or RCB could try to hire someone experienced in the IPL, as well.
