1) Mohammed Siraj
Siraj has consistency problems but when he gets going, he is hard to stop. Especially with the new ball, he has the habit to pick wickets consistently.
He can also bowl at other phases, including at the death. Therefore, CSK must go hard for Siraj. It could be tough to get him, though, as RCB might be using their RTM Card for him.
2) Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami is one of the players CSK could target to replace Deepak Chahar in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. Considering his recent injury issues, Shami could be available at a discount in the upcoming auctions.
However, if he is available for the season, he will be leading the pace attack. CSK needs such a player in the pace battery along with Pathirana. At CSK, Shami could be a great fit and therefore, the franchise could sign him up.
3) Mukesh Kumar
While the fans could pick Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the other option, in reality, looking at the current situation, Mukesh Kumar will be an excellent fit for the franchise. He did well at Delhi Capitals in the last two editions.
The advantage of Mukesh is that could contribute in different phases of the game. At venues which suit him, he could wreak havoc with the new ball. He is also decent with his fitness which will allow the franchise to be more consistent in their playing XI’s.
