The 2024 T20 World Cup will be a vital series for a few Indian players. It will play a huge role in their careers. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three Indians who will be dropped permanently from the team if they flop in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

1) Yuzvendra Chahal

Chahal has been disappointing ever since he got selected back in the Indian Team. Hence, there is pressure on him to perform for India.

However, if he fails to do that, it could be curtains for him in the blue jersey. More than the management, the fans will be unhappy with the way Chahal would have performed.

2) Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson is one of the Indians who will be dropped permanently from the team if they flop in the 2024 T20 World Cup. It is an extremely critical tournament for Sanju Samson. He has to perform at any cost in the upcoming event.

If he does not step up, with a new coach in the pipeline, the ideas could be different and the management could look at a younger wicket-keeper. It would be very harsh for him but seeing the way he has been treated till now, it is not a surprise if Sanju does not find a place in the T20I setup again.

3) Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has not been excellent in the T20I format in the recent years. Axar Patel has done well both with the bat and the ball. Also, there would be an eye on Jadeja’s fitness for the other formats.

Especially if Jaddu has a bad tournament, India might not consider him in the squad, going forward. It could be in the view of both the T20I squad as well as Jaddu’s fitness. If Jadeja has to have a longer T20I career, he must do well in the upcoming tournament.
