Andy Flower and Mo Bobat have struggled with their campaign at RCB. The season has already fallen apart but mathematically, the team could still get close to the playoffs. However, that will be a long journey for them. The franchise has nothing to lose and here is where they can take some fearless calls. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three fearless decisions RCB must take for the coming matches in IPL 2024.

1) Drop Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell has been disappointing this season. For a player of his stature and calibre, not even getting to buy a run in six games is a big disappointment.

Nevertheless, it would take guts to drop Maxwell, especially after the year he had and the middle-order issues that RCB have. However, RCB must take this call. Will Jacks and Cameron Green are capable of doing well and they could need backing.

2) Back Mohammed Siraj

Backing Mohammed Siraj is one of the fearless decisions RCB must take for the coming matches in IPL 2024. Siraj also has been poor but unlike Maxwell, he needs backing.

We all know that Siraj is a bowler who relies on confidence to deliver his best. For the future of the franchise and Team India, Siraj needs backing right now. Moreover, RCB does not have other capable options in the squad who can do the job that Siraj is doing at the moment.

3) Appoint Virat Kohli as skipper

Not only for the management but even for Virat Kohli, taking up captaincy at this moment could be a very gutsy call. However, he is a strong character and might be up for the challenge.

Faf du Plessis is getting stronger with the bat but his captaincy has been poor. He anyways takes time to start with the bat, as well. Considering these factors, having Virat as the captain will help the franchise in the remaining games.
