1) Mitchell Marsh
RCB needs to ponder a lot about whom they can target to replace Faf du Plessis. The veteran did well both with the bat and as a skipper. Mitchell Marsh can be a tempting option for the side.
As a captain, Marsh could fill in straightaway. As an opener, as well, he will be ideal as Virat Kohli’s partner. The only concern will be his fitness. However, if RCB can trust the Aussie and if he remains fit, the team would have got a fine all-rounder.
2) Anrich Nortje
Anrich Nortje is one of the Delhi Capitals players RCB could target in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. Before the last Mega Auction, Delhi had retained Nortje. However, since then, he has been disappointing due to both form and fitness.
However, the player that he is, he can always make a strong comeback. He has already been gaining momentum in the last few months. RCB needs an all-phase pacer and someone with a serious pace. The South African cricketer will be a very good choice in this perspective.
3) Harry Brook
Harry Brook pulled out of IPL last season due to personal reasons. He was signed by Delhi Capitals for a big fee and was due to play a vital role. Nevertheless, Delhi can still retain him, although that is very unlikely at the moment.
RCB will need a proper middle-order batter to complement the likes of Rajat Patidar. Considering the squad also needs a future superstar, Brook will be the ideal candidate for the side.
