Michael Bracewell
Royal Challengers Bangalore roped in Michael Bracewell as the replacement for injured Will Jacks. The Kiwi all-rounder could now be in contention to make his debut for the team in the first game. If Maxwell gets ruled out of the opening encounter, Bracewell can be a perfect replacement for him. The all-rounder has been going through the fine form in international cricket and his ability to chip in with both bat and ball could be vital for the team. He has played 16 T20Is in which he has scored 113 runs and picked up 21 wickets. His attacking batting and leg spin can fill the void left by Maxwell.
Michael Bracewell said – "I'm really excited to play for RCB in IPL and I'm really excited and happy for this opportunity to get there and play with some of the best players in the world".

Fin Allen
New Zealand batter Fin Allen could be another player that can replace Glenn Maxwell in RCB’s lineup for the first game against Mumbai Indians. The dashing opener could boost the team’s batting lineup. If he comes in the team, he’s likely to open the innings alongside Faf du Plessis with Virat Kohli at No.3. The Kiwi opener is known for his aggressive style of play and often has given his team a rollicking start, which RCB has been lacking since while. Therefore he could be one option that the team might look to bring in to replace Maxwell against Mumbai Indians.
