1) Tim Seifert

Tim Seifert is a player who has been doing well in recent times for the Kiwis in the white-ball format. It is actually a bit of a surprise that he has missed out on the event.

He is a player who can operate at multiple slots. Considering Finn Allen’s inconsistency and Devon Conway’s injury issues, Seifert would have been a decent backup to have.

2) Colin Munro

Colin Munro is one of the players unlucky to miss out on the New Zealand squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup. As per reports, Colin Munro was being considered for a return to the Kiwi setup. It has been a long time since he played international cricket. New Zealand coach Gary Stead confirmed that they did discuss his name while selecting the squad.

Munro started out as an opener but has made a name for himself as a good middle-order batter. He is a left-hander and offers a wealth of experience in this format.
