In the history of the T20 World Cup, we have seen many making their international debut at the mega-event. For India, the likes of Yusuf Pathan made his debut at the T20 World Cup. With no other tournaments happening before the 2024 T20 World Cup, we could see some in-form Indians take the same route. 1) Abhishek Sharma
Abhishek Sharma is in terrific form at the moment. For SRH, he is giving quick starts and he is also doing well in hitting all types of bowlers. However, facing spinners seems to be his forte. For this reason alone, he deserves a chance at the 2024 T20 World Cup where we will see a lot of slow pitches.
Plus, Yashasvi Jaiswal is not in great form. He is yet to play outside the powerplay this season. This is a serious concern for the Indian Team because he is one of the designated openers. If Jaiswal fails in the next games, as well, it could be difficult for him to get a spot in the Indian Team.
2) Mayank Yadav
Mayank Yadav is one of the Indians who could make their international debut at the 2024 T20 World Cup. Provided he is fit, it is certain that Mayank Yadav will get a spot in the Indian Team. At the moment, only Jasprit Bumrah has a confirmed spot while Mohammed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh are also likely to be in the race.
Mayank has that X-Factor with his pace and hard lengths. Fitness is the only issue for him. No other pacer is doing as good as him in the ongoing IPL campaign. Therefore, it will not be a surprise if Ajit Agarkar and co. select the Delhi youngster.
