One of the big issues with Pakistan is that they have not had a consistent presence in the support staff. If they have someone for the long term, a lot of issues could be solved. That could also be their next topic on the agenda to improve the performance of the side. Hence, they could even target one of the current Head Coaches in the Indian Premier League. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two current IPL Head Coaches whom Pakistan might target as the next Head Coach.

1) Trevor Bayliss

Trevor Bayliss is an experienced coach and he has the habit of winning trophies. He is also extremely good when it comes to tactics and is also known to be a good player-manager. Yes, age-wise, he might not be the right profile but Pakistan could surely consider him for his winning record.

At Punjab Kings, his time could be up after a run of two bad seasons. PBKS could look at other options. Bayliss might want to take up a role at a national team to lead another squad to success. Hence, Pakistan could be a choice for him.

2) Mark Boucher

Mark Boucher is one of the current IPL Head Coaches whom Pakistan might target as the next Head Coach. After the campaign for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024, it would be a shock if the MI management persisted with him. In this regard, Boucher could have already started exploring options for the next step in his career.

Boucher did well for South Africa when he was at the helm. Pakistan could possibly look at such a candidate. Structurally, a lot of issues need to be sorted. For Boucher, as well, to redeem himself, he would be looking at a strong challenge. The Pakistan job could help the former South African cricketer in this regard.
