November is turning out to be a pretty exciting month for cricket lovers across the globe. The T20 World Cup 2022 final is set to be played in a week’s time on 13th November at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium and BCCI has now announced that all the IPL franchises will have to announce their retention list for IPL 2023 on 15th November. Thus, the preparation for IPL 2023 will be starting right after the end of T20 World Cup 2022. https://twitter.com/mujxxhid/status/1589632737513988096?s=20&t=67LpzTV71EBZyMwl4oAYsw

Unlike last season, there will not be any Mega Auction for Indian Premier League 2023 and thus all the ten franchises will tend to keep their big guns to themselves. Thus, most of the big names will be retained and only some of the young players or out-of-form players will be released. However, there might be some surprising names in the released players list as well and only time will reveal that.

Ravindra Jadeja might be among those interesting names according to rumours. He got into a fight with the CSK authorities last season and thus it is being said that he might be released. However, MS Dhoni has apparently announced that Jadeja is unsellable so that is another interesting angle about this story.

It is being said that the Auction for IPL 2022 will be taking place on December 16 at Turkey this year. However nothing is certain about the details and some sources have also claimed that the Auction will take place in Bengaluru just like last season.

Gujarat Titans, the winners of IPL 2022 are once again one of the favourites to win the title in IPL 2023 as well as they will retain most of their title-winning team. It is teams like Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders who have a lot to think and a lot of changes to make as they had a horrible run last season.
