It’s the time of the T20 World Cup 2022. The marquee event is less than 24 hours away from now and all the teams have finalised their squads and have left no stone unturned in their preparations for the tournament.

Sri Lanka will play the opening game of the tournament against Namibia at the Simonds Stadium in Geelong. The qualifier round will see four teams heading into the Super 12 stage of the tournament, which will begin from 22nd October with a game between Australia and New Zealand in Sydney followed by the clash between England and Afghanistan in Perth on the same day.

As the tournament is just one day away, the captains of all the teams attended the press conference and spoke about their preparations ahead of the World Cup. After speaking to the reports, the skippers of all the teams posed for group pictures and also had a few light moments as well.
