Talented cricketer Prithvi Shaw who has represented the Indian national cricket team in five Tests, six ODIs and a solitary T20I is currently out of the national reckoning in any of the formats.

The right-handed batter recently made the headlines for his emotional posts after not getting a call-up despite his consistent performances in the domestic circuit.

However, at the moment, he is currently focusing on the domestic circuit in the hope that he would receive a call-up from the national cricket team anytime soon. Currently, the youngster is playing for the Mumbai cricket team against the Saurashtra cricket team in the Ranji Trophy.

Prithvi Shaw scored fifty off 67 balls against Saurashtra

The youngster started the innings pretty well against the Saurashtra cricket team where he went on to score a superb half-century off 67 balls and also drew encomiums for his terrific comeback.

This is exactly the kind of confidence and form, Prithvi Shaw was actually looking for and he would be hoping to continue his good touch with the bat in a bid to give a signal to the Indian selectors.

Prithvi Shaw has slammed one century and two fifties in the longest format of the game, aggregating 339 runs at an average of 42.4 and a superb batting strike rate of 86.

On the other side of the coin, he has scored 189 runs in the One-Day Internationals but hasn’t really scored a fifty or hundred and has an average of 31.5. He played just one T20I in his career and is yet to get off the mark.

Talking about his performance in first-class cricket, he has scored 3122 runs at an average of 48.03 including eleven centuries and 14 half-centuries to his name. On the other hand, he has scored 2627 runs in List A cricket at an average of 52.54 including eight centuries and eleven fifties.
