Indian captain Rohit Sharma must be really pleased with the way how things turned out well so far in the fresh calendar year. The Men in Blue invited Sri Lanka for three T20Is and three ODIs.
The hosts won the T20I series by 2-1 under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. Rohit Sharma returned to the ODI set-up against Sri Lanka. Under his captaincy, Team India won the series by 3-0, which was a perfect result for the hosts.
Right now, India are playing the second of the three-match ODI series against the New Zealand cricket team. Kane Williamson has been rested for the ODI series whereas Tom Latham has been named the interim captain.
The first ODI between India and New Zealand did live up to the expectations of the fans at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Men in Blue drew first blood in the series by beating New Zealand by 12 runs, in what was a thrilling contest.

Case in point, Indian captain Rohit Sharma suffered a hilarious brain-fade moment during the toss time at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma went blank for a few seconds before making the decision to bowl first. The hilarious video clip went viral on social media channels.
