The David Warner-Sunrisers Hyderabad association has taken a big beating in IPL 2021. In the first phase of the competition, Warner was sacked from captaincy, and since then, the relationship has only gone downhill. In this article, we take a look at the Twitter reactions as David Warner supports SRH from the stands against KKR on Sunday.

SRH begin the game against KKR in a disappointing fashion

Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the consistent teams in the competition in recent years. However, they have been disappointing in IPL 2021. While performance-wise, they have been poor, the SRH management has also shocked many with their debatable decisions in the tournament.

After getting eliminated from the playoff race, many expected SRH to play party spoilers for a few other teams. However, they have not been able to do even that. Against KKR, SRH was restricted to 115-8 in 20 overs. It was a poor show considering that team came out with nothing to lose.

David Warner supports SRH from the stands

David Warner is arguably the best player in the history of Sunrisers Hyderabad so far. In 2016, under his leadership, the team won a trophy. Warner is also the highest run-scorer for the franchise and is a multiple-time Orange Cap winner.

Despite so many achievements for the team, the Aussie has been treated very harshly by the SRH management this season. He was first sacked and dropped from the team in the first phase. In the UAE leg, he was dropped again, and he was reportedly not allowed to attend the game in the stadium. Against KKR, Warner turned up at the stands and was seen sporting an SRH jersey and supporting the team. This triggered a few reactions on Twitter. We take a look at some of them below.
