Suryakumar Yadav etched his name into record books after he hammered one of the fastest centuries in the history of the Indian Premier League. The right-handed batter scored a terrific 103* off 49 balls.

He composed his innings with the help of 11 fours and 6 hits over the fence at a strike rate of 210.20. He smashed an unbeaten 103 and powered Mumbai Indians to 218/5 in their quota of 20 overs.

Gujarat Titans’ bowlers had no clue whatsoever while bowling to Suryakumar Yadav. The right-handed batter literally inflicted quite a lot of damage on the GT bowlers by smashing sixes and fours with relative ease.

The right-handed batter brought the best out of himself when his team really needed him the most. Mumbai Indians posted a competitive total on the board in their designated quota of 20 overs.

On the other side of the coin, Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma who literally bowled pretty well for Gujarat Titans this season were absolutely battered by the MI batsmen for runs.

Suryakumar Yadav has already carved out a reputation for himself as one of the most successful batsmen in the IPL. He just kept getting better as he scored 3123 runs at an average of 31.55 including 1 century and 20 fifties.
