Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian national cricket team across all three formats of the game. Under his captaincy, the Indian cricket team have performed considerably well across formats.

Recently, the Men in Blue ran through a heartbreaking exit in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. India surrendered at the hands of the England cricket team in the second semi-final in Adelaide.

Earlier, Team India also missed out on winning the Asia Cup title in the United Arab Emirates. They performed miserably in the Super 4 stage and ended up getting eliminated from the competition.

Yuvraj Singh rates 10/10 for Rohit Sharma’s captaincy

For the unversed, Team India already won the Asia Cup and Nidahas Trophy both under the interim captaincy of Rohit Sharma during Virat Kohli’s absence a few years ago.

However, after becoming the full-captain, Rohit Sharma didn’t win any trophy. There were talks about having a separate captain for Tests, ODIs and a separate captain for Twenty20 Internationals.

As per the reports, Hardik Pandya will go on to lead the Indian cricket team in T20Is whereas Rohit Sharma will continue to lead the team in the Test and the ODI format.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh hogged the limelight after he evaluated Rohit Sharma’s captaincy on the micro-blogging Twitter platform.

It all started when a sports portal ‘Sportskeeda’ took to the Twitter portal and posted a picture of Rohit Sharma and asked its fans and followers to rate Rohit Sharma’s captaincy out of 10.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh stole the spotlight after he came up with a stellar comment that says, “10 out of 10”. Yuvraj Singh firmly believes that Rohit Sharma is still the best captain to lead the team from the front.

India haven’t won an ICC title since 2013 and the Men in Blue will look to end the title drought next year. The upcoming ICC ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held in 2023 in India.
