Gujarat Titans are locking horns with Punjab Kings in the 18th match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The game is currently being held at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bowl first. Punjab Kings posted 153 for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Matthew Short top-scored with 36 off 24 balls including six fours and 1 six.

Jitesh Sharma scored 25 runs whereas the likes of Sam Curran and Shahrukh Khan scored 22 runs apiece. Gujarat Titans’ bowlers chipped in with disciplinary bowling performances.

Mohit Sharma took two wickets to his name whereas the likes of Mohammed Shami, Joshua Little, Alzarri Joseph and Rashid Khan took a wicket apiece for Gujarat Titans.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans’ wicketkeeper, Wriddhiman Saha made the headlines for his exceptional performance behind the stumps against Punjab Kings in the ongoing match in Mohali.

Wriddhiman Saha ticked all boxes as a wicketkeeper as he hit the bull’s eye to run out Rishi Dhawan. Besides that, he took a good catch behind the stumps to dismiss Jitesh Sharma.

On the other hand, Saha and Miller combined together to run out Shahrukh Khan. Saha was also spot on with the DRS call and has well and truly had a remarkable day at the office against Punjab Kings. Some fans are of the opinion that Saha should at least deserve a place in the Indian Test team.
