While they are gaining huge praise for their performances, one of the main concerns for them has been the form of their skipper Babar Azam. The right-hander has looked out of touch and has failed to set the stage on fire in the three games he has played.

In the first game against India, Babar scored 10 runs and many expected him to turn the tables around in Hong Kong. But it was the same case for him as he registered a score of 9 runs against the associate nation.

In Pakistan’s recent encounter against India in Super 4, the opening batter yet again was dismissed for a low score as he smashed just 14 runs in 10 balls. Babar gave a straight catch to Rohit Sharma at mid-wicket.

Notably, Babar Azam came into the Asia Cup 2022 on the back of three consecutive half-centuries against the Netherlands.
