MS Dhoni is one of the marquee players to watch out for in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The sixteenth edition of the IPL is just less than four days away from getting underway.

Chennai Super Kings will kick-start their IPL 2023 campaign on March 31 as they will cross swords with Gujarat Titans in the tournament opener at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium – Ahmedabad.

It will be quite interesting to see which team will come out on top in the first game. Gujarat Titans were the champions of the IPL 2022 season as they beat Rajasthan Royals to win the first title in their debut season.

On the other side of the coin, Chennai Super Kings ran through a troublesome experience throughout the season as they finished ninth on the IPL 2022 points table with only four wins and ten defeats.

MS Dhoni paints seats at Chepauk before IPL 2023

Just days ahead of the start of the IPL 2023 season, a video clip featuring MS Dhoni painting the seats at Chepauk spread like wildfire on social media portals.

The CSK captain was seen spraying the yellow and dark blue paint at the seats of the MA Chidambaram Stadium. This goes to show MS Dhoni’s intense bond he shares with the CSK fraternity including Chennai city.

“Works. Definitely looking Yellove,” MS Dhoni jokingly said after he painted a seat. “It’s working. I’ll show you the other side,” the CSK captain was saying to someone in the stands.

Chennai Super Kings are the most successful team in the history of the IPL in terms of the most matches won in the competition. Having played 209 games, CSK won 121 games and lost 86 games with a 58.41 win percentage. They are second on the list in terms of the most titles won in the competition. CSK have won four titles.
