Shreyas Iyer says Sanju Samson and him had a good partnership
In the end, Team India posted 306/7 in their designated quota of 50 overs. Tim Southee took 3 wickets to his name whereas Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the bowlers as he not only took 3 wickets but also bowled a maiden over.
In response to India’s competitive target, New Zealand national cricket team largely benefitted from the services of Kane Williamson and Tom Latham, despite losing three wickets in the run-chase.
The duo added 221 runs for the fourth-wicket and helped the team chase down the target in 47.1 overs as New Zealand cricket team took the first lead in the three-match ODI series.
