One more option for JSK would be to appoint an overseas player as the captain. As seen with MI Cape Town, this decision could come with a lot of risks. That said, since JSK does not have a notable domestic option, they might go ahead with this option.
If they look around in the CSK family, they could set their eyes on someone like Moeen Ali. Yes, Moeen might be in the last few years of his career but he could be a good option during the transition phase. He also contributes in both the departments of the game and this factor could help him cement a place in the playing XI for all the matches.
