Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are two of the most popular cricketers of the modern era. While Kohli captained the Indian team from 2015 to 2021, Sharma has replaced him as the skipper of the Indian side now. Both batters have had many great partnerships together.

Also, they were members of the leadership group together when Kohli was the skipper. Rohit was his deputy for a long time before replacing him as the full-time captain. Back when Rohit was the vice-captain, there were reports that claimed that there was a rift between the two players.

Some of them even claimed that the team had been divided into two clans. One of the two backed Rohit Sharma, while the other one supported Virat Kohli. However, the duo trashed all the media reports.

Of late, they have been celebrating with each other more than before, and it clearly shows that there was nothing wrong between the two as claimed before. A Twitter user sarcastically pointed out how there is no rift between the two with the following tweet:

“Rohit Sharma getting out on Pull. Virat Kohli getting out for cover drive. Brothers for a reason, setting goals.”

The context of the tweet is that the favorite shot of Rohit is the pull, while Kohli is the master of cover drives. However, both players have lost their wickets to those shots in recent times.
