Ajinkya Rahane Is Getting Trolled For His Instagram Post After His Poor Performance

India’s vicecaptain Ajinkya Rahane has found himself under the scanner of critics due to his forgetful run so far in the ongoing 5-match Test series against England. So far, in the ongoing series, Ajinkya has managed to cross the fifty-run mark at the Lord’s while the rest of his outings in the series have been disappointing.

On Day 5 of the ongoing fifth Test match, a lot was expected from the vice-captain considering the condition of the pitch, however, Rahane failed to live up to the expectations of his fans. After a disappointing 14-run knock in the first innings, Rahane continued his slump as he got dismissed for a duck in the 3rd innings of the Oval Test.

Ajinkya Rahane walked out to bat after the dismissal of Cheteshwar Pujara. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli was in the middle and in need of a stable partner at the other end. Ajinkya Rahane managed to grab the attention of one and all, however, for all the wrong reasons. He lasted only 8 deliveries and was dismissed by Chris Woakes. without scoring a run.

As soon as Rahane got out for a duck, social media was flooded with reactions from the fans, who slammed the vice-captain for his poor performance. There were many who asked for his replacement for the fifth Test match.

Meanwhile, an Instagram post of Rahane has been making rounds on the internet that he shared after his 61-run knock at the Lords’ to shut down the critics. In his post, Rahane took a sly at his trolls by sharing a picture of him smiling. Sharing the picture he wrote:
