Although the T20 World Cup 2022 is more than one month away it has set the cricketing world on fire from now only. Teams have started to announce their squad for the tournament and ICC also has started to sell tickets for the event, which has raised the excitement level over the horizon.

T20 World Cup 2022: India vs Pakistan clash set to have a huge crowd 

The T20 World Cup 2022 will begin on the 16th of October in Australia with the final set to take place on the 13th of November. Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are also slated to clash in the Super 12 stage of the tournament, which will begin on the 22nd of October.

The game between India and Pakistan is slated to take place on 23rd October at MCG. Like all their clashes, the match between the two is expected to be a blockbuster clash. It will also see the crowd in huge chunks as ICC revealed that tickets for the game have been sold out.

It was also revealed that organizers put additional 4000 standing-room tickets on a first-come-first-serve basis and in what was a huge profit for them, those tickets were sold out in just a few minutes.

Tickets for India’s second match on 27th October, in which they will face runners-up from Group A, also have been sold out. Apart from this overall of 500,000 tickets have been purchased and the number is expected to grow more.

India and Pakistan have faced each other 6 times in the T20 World Cup so far. Out of those matches, Men in Blue have emerged victorious in 4 matches while Pakistan has won only 1 game. Whereas one match among them has ended up as a draw. The head-to-head stats between the arch-rivals is 4-1 in favor of India.

The duo also recently faced each other in Asia Cup 2022. They clashed two times in the tournament with both winning one game each. Their clash in the T20 World Cup 2022 will be a sort of decider and it remains to be seen who emerges victorious.
