IND vs AFG: Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra named two bowlers whom he feel might trouble Team India in their last match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai. The Cricketer-turned-commentator also feels that Deepak Chahar will play today and it’ll be India who will emerge victorious.

IND vs AFG: “We don’t play them well,” Aakash Chopra says Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rashid Khan will trouble India

Indian team is all set to take on Afghanistan in their last match of the tournament on Thursday (8th September). The Rohit Sharma-led side has been eliminated from the tournament following their poor performances in the Super 4s of the event.

The Men in Blue won two games in the group stage and after that, they failed to go past the finishing line. They first suffered a 5-wicket loss against Pakistan and then were handed a 6-wicket thumping at the hands of Sri Lanka, which shattered their hopes of qualifying for the tournament.

They will now have a bigger picture in mind and would be looking to tick all the boxes before heading to Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022. The game against Afghanistan will be perfect for them to test a few things and get their answers.

But it won’t easy as Afghanistan has also been in the top form and their bowling has been high-class. They can no doubt trouble Indian batters and also can win the game.

Aakash Chopra feels that Farooqi and Rashid together will pick more than three wickets as India doesn’t play left-arm pacers and leg spin well. Speaking in a video posted on his YouTube channel, he said:

“I feel Farooqi and Rashid will together pick up three or more wickets. Farooqi is bowling well and we have troubles against the left-arm pacers in any case. We don’t play them well,” he said.

IND Vs AFG: “Deepak and Arshdeep will together pick up four or more wickets,” predicts Aakash Chopra

Deepak Chahar was added into the squad after Avesh Khan failed to recover from the illness. He’s likely to play today’s match. Chopra feels India might rest Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He elaborated:

“I feel Deepak and Arshdeep will together pick up four or more wickets. I am saying that because I feel Deepak will play and you should play him as well. You might rest Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) but if there is grass on this pitch, what is the point. I feel India will win this match, there should not be any problem there.” He said.
