Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma will be the openers in the strongest India playing 11 for tonight’s first T20I against Bangladesh. SKY has already confirmed that these two will open the innings. It is a fresh combination and one that the management will hope that works.
Middle-Order: Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C) and Rinku Singh
SKY and Rinku Singh will form the core of this middle-order. Shivam Dube has been ruled out and Tilak Varma has replaced him in the squad. It is not a surprise if Tilak gets a chance in the playing XI directly. A left-hander against spin in the middle-overs is necessary and hence, Tilak could get the nod over Nitish.
All-Rounders: Riyan Parag, Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar
It will be a strong group of all-rounders for this strongest India playing 11 for tonight’s first T20I against Bangladesh. Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar will play a vital role for this side. Hardik could act as the third pacer. Riyan Parag could step in with the ball, as well.
Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh
India could play with just three mainstream bowlers for this game. It is a test for the side and it will also help develop the all-rounders. Harshit Rana could make his debut while Arshdeep Singh will lead the attack. Ravi Bishnoi will be the specialist spinner.
